New short story published: HOW SHE GOT THOSE SCARS

A few months back, I started writing a monthly short story for patrons over on my Patreon. These have all been in set in the IRON GARDEN universe. I’m going to begin to publish the ones that are polished, at least a month after they go live on Patreon. So if you want a sneak peek, go sign up!

Otherwise, you can check out the first two stand-alone short stories in this adult Urban Fantasy universe when they go live on sale and with their shnazzy covers designed by my good friend and fellow Papercuts Podcast partner, Cyna Martinez.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’re possibly already aware of the first short, A TASTE OF FAERIEOn his way to a party with stolen alcohol, a young man makes a most unfortunate acquaintance.

Allow me to introduce the second stand-alone short…

HOW SHE GOT THOSE SCARSWhen a brilliant sandling woman falls in love with a dwarven master craftswoman, the two team up to create magical items of untold glory and beauty for their fellow fae. But their latest project leads down a dangerous path, setting them to cross with cruel royalty and deadly heroes.

Episode 57 – Movie Review: Seventh Son

The Papercuts Podcast crew took this week to record a super special bonus episode, so we’re breaking open the Emergency Podcast Case to bring you Episode 57 – Movie Review: Seventh Son, an episode from the past!

Last year, Ollie and Cyna spent Christmas day watching and discussing the microcosm of Hollywood genre film fuckery that was Seventh Son, the film adaptation of Joseph Delany’s Last Apprentice series. It was the best possible use of their time.

There is a lot to unpack with this one guys. ENJOY.
